There is no single best net worth tracker in India. The right one depends on what you own and how much access you are willing to hand over. If everything you hold is at Zerodha, Console is free and enough. If you want automatic sync and do not mind an app reading your inbox, INDmoney is free. If you want a family’s whole net worth (stocks, funds, gold, PPF, FDs, property and loans) without linking a single account, that is what we built WealthGamma for.
A disclosure before the list. We make WealthGamma, so we are not neutral. To keep this honest, every tracker below gets a “best for” that is true, and there is a section on what WealthGamma does not do. Competitor details come from each company’s own site, help pages and app listings, checked in September 2026. Prices change, so confirm before you pay.

What separates one net worth tracker from another
A net worth tracker adds up what you own, subtracts what you owe, and shows one number. Five things decide whether that number is right for an Indian household.
- What it counts. A demat account is rarely the whole picture. Gold, PPF, EPF, FDs, a flat and a home loan usually outweigh it.
- How your data gets in. Some apps read your email or link to your broker. Some read a statement file you upload. Some make you type everything.
- Family. Indian money is a household project, but tax is filed per PAN. A tracker has to do both.
- Capital gains tax. Knowing the LTCG and STCG on a sale, ideally before you sell, on holdings from any broker.
- Price, and who pays. A free app earns from something. It helps to know what.

The trackers, one by one
1. WealthGamma
Best for: a household that wants one true number across every member and every asset, and will not hand over a broker login or an inbox.
You upload a Zerodha tradebook, another broker’s CSV or a CAMS/KFintech CAS, or add holdings yourself. Stocks, mutual funds and gold are then priced every day from public NSE, BSE and AMFI data. PPF, FDs, property and loans sit beside them. Each family member has a portfolio on their own PAN under one login, with capital gains tax worked out per PAN and projections decades ahead.
The catch: nothing syncs by itself. New trades need a fresh import or a manual entry. Extra family portfolios, file imports and the tax planner are on the paid plans, which start at ₹1,499 a year or ₹4,999 once.
2. INDmoney
Best for: someone who wants to invest and track in one free app, including US stocks, and is fine with automatic sync.
INDmoney covers the widest range of assets of any free app here. It stays in sync by reading your financial emails and linking brokers, and it is free because it earns from brokerage, distribution and loans. Its free tax report covers holdings bought on INDmoney. More detail in our INDmoney comparison.
3. Kuvera
Best for: direct mutual fund investors who want to buy and track funds in one free app.
Kuvera, owned by CRED since 2024, imports outside funds from a CAMS statement and shows the tax on a redemption before you sell. It is a fund-first view: stocks, gold, PPF, property and loans do not roll into one net worth, and several extras are unlocked with coins. See the Kuvera comparison.
4. ET Money
Best for: people who put new money into direct mutual funds through the app and want curated fund picks.
ET Money, owned by 360 ONE WAM, is free for investing. The Genius membership is ₹249 a month, billed quarterly. It also tracks EPF and NPS, but not gold, PPF, property or loans. See the ET Money comparison.
5. Moneycontrol Portfolio Manager
Best for: someone who already reads Moneycontrol every day and wants a simple free list beside the news.
Every holding is typed in. There is no statement import, no family view and no tax. See the Moneycontrol comparison.
6. Value Research
Best for: mutual fund investors who value fund ratings and research.
The Value Research tracker is free and maps holdings across family PANs, importing through a linked Gmail account or MF Central. Buy and sell calls sit behind Fund Advisor at ₹490 a month. Gold, PPF, FDs, property and loans are not part of it. See the Value Research comparison.
7. MProfit
Best for: HNIs, family offices and CAs with PMS, AIF, F&O or unlisted shares.
MProfit is accounting software more than a tracker. It reads contract notes from 700 or more brokers and produces capital gains reports in ITR, ClearTax and Winman formats. The cheapest plan is ₹18,000 a year plus GST, with no free plan. If your CA asks for Winman files, this is the one. See the MProfit comparison.
8. Kubera
Best for: money spread across countries and currencies, with crypto in the mix.
Kubera is built in the US and billed in dollars. It syncs foreign banks, brokers and crypto wallets, and adds a document vault and a dead man’s switch for heirs. For India it is thinner: mutual funds are entered by AMFI code with no CAS import, BSE is not priced, and there is no Indian capital gains tax. See the Kubera comparison.
9. Zerodha Console
Best for: anyone whose stocks and funds all sit at Zerodha.
Console is free and its tax reports for Zerodha trades are strong. Its limit is scope. It sees only Zerodha accounts, so another broker, gold, PPF, property and loans never appear. See the Zerodha Console comparison.
10. Excel or Google Sheets
Best for: a handful of holdings, tracked by one person who enjoys building the sheet.
A spreadsheet is free and does exactly what you build. The cost is upkeep: prices, XIRR and each year’s tax rules are yours to maintain, and the sheet depends on the one person who understands it. See the spreadsheet comparison.
What WealthGamma does not do
If one of these matters to you, pick something else from the list.
- No trading. You cannot buy or sell inside it.
- No automatic sync. It never links a broker or reads an inbox, so it cannot update itself after a trade.
- No US stocks, and no crypto priced live from exchanges.
- No market news or research.
How to choose in two questions
First: is everything you own in one place? If it is all at one broker, that broker’s own dashboard is free and accurate. A separate tracker earns its place only when your money is spread across brokers, fund houses, banks, gold and property.
Second: would you rather give access or give ten minutes? Auto-sync apps save effort by reading your email or holding your broker link. File-import apps ask you to upload a statement now and then, and hold nothing else. Neither is wrong. They are different trades, and it is worth choosing on purpose.
Frequently asked questions
Which is the best net worth tracker app in India?
It depends on what you own. WealthGamma suits a family tracking stocks, funds, gold, PPF, FDs, property and loans without linking accounts. INDmoney suits people who want free automatic sync. Zerodha Console is enough if everything is at Zerodha.
Is there a free net worth tracker in India?
Yes. INDmoney, Kuvera, Moneycontrol Portfolio Manager, Value Research and Zerodha Console all have free trackers. WealthGamma has a free plan for one portfolio with no expiry.
Which net worth tracker works without linking a bank or broker?
WealthGamma, Moneycontrol Portfolio Manager and a spreadsheet all work with nothing linked. Of the three, WealthGamma is the one that imports statement files and prices holdings daily.
Which app tracks mutual funds and stocks together?
WealthGamma, INDmoney, Value Research, ET Money and Moneycontrol track both. Kuvera is built around mutual funds, and Zerodha Console covers only what you hold at Zerodha.
Which tracker is best for a family?
WealthGamma keeps every family member under one login, each on their own PAN, and adds them into one family net worth. INDmoney and Value Research also support family members, and MProfit does it for family offices.
Do net worth trackers calculate capital gains tax?
Some do. WealthGamma computes LTCG and STCG on holdings from any broker and shows the tax before you sell. MProfit produces reports in ITR formats, Zerodha Console covers Zerodha trades, and Kuvera covers mutual funds.
